HIM are set to headline Give It A Name '07 on Friday 27th of april. Other bands expected to be there are The Used, Julliette and The Licks, Alexisonfire, Biffy Clyro, From First To Last and many others.
The long-awaited HIM album is expected to be released in September. The new album, entitled 'Venus Doom', and five tracks have been announced, entitled 'Love In Cold Blood', 'The Kiss Of Dawn', 'Dead Lovers Lane', 'Bleed Well', and 'Passions Killer Floor'.
HIM are also set to release Uneasy Listenings Vol. 2 in april, all on seperate dates starting from the 20th.
Also in this months Metal Hammer magazine, lead singer Ville Valo is interviewed, and the magazine is out now priced £3.99 and comes with two free CD's.
In this weeks Kerrang!, they take a look at the HIM songs that would make the ultimate disc, and break down which are the great albums, and the bad albums. Kerrang! is out now priced £2.10
HIM are set to join Metallica on tour as an opening act in july. They are performing at: Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. Check out heartagram.com for the full list of tour dates.
also one of the bands new songs Passions Killing Floor is on the transformers the movie soundtrack, and the movie is out now in all cinemas.
Also, HIM's new album Venus Doom is releaed in the UK on september 17th which is a monday, and the new single kiss of dawn is released a week before.
the band have also been announced as one of the main headliners this year at the projekt revolution tour, other acts include my chemical romance, linkin park, madina lake, taking back sunday and many more.
also I have posted 3 HIM videos with the new songs on, one is live which is dead lovers lane, when they played at Give It A Name 07, and the other two are ones with the songs in the background, but with clips of the band as the video. the new HIM video has been released for Kiss Of Dawn but has been took down off youtube.com due to copyright laws

Also Ville Valo has went into rehab, I'm unsure of the details as to why he has, but all UK fans pick up next weeks Kerrang! on sale wednesday 29 of august to find out the full story.

Ville Valo went into rehab due to his drinking problem. in last weeks kerrang! there was a 6 page interview with the man himself, and he explains everything that had happened.

Both the official singles and album rock charts have been taken over by HIM's very own brand of love metal this week, with new album Venus Doom shooting straight to number one, and single Kiss of Dawn staying at the top spot for a second consecutive week. Keep buying HIMsters!

The latest HIM single to be released is Bleed Well, the video was released a few weeks ago, and is now on Scuzz in the UK and also on the bands youtube channel. The release date for Bleed Well in the UK as a single is tomorrow, the 17th of december.

Valo himself has a christmas message to readers, in the last issue of kerrang! of the year, and the next issue is out january the 2nd 2008.
