Ville Valo, along with Mikko Viljami Lindström (AKA Linde, also known as Daniel Lioneye and guitarist for HIM) and Mikko Henrik Julius "Migé" Paananen (the bassit for HIM) formed in 1991. Between '91 and '95 the band had gone through many line-up changes, and released the EP entitled 666 Ways to Love: Prologue, and was solely released in Finland, and sold only 1,000 copies. Ville also made appearances in the hit TV series that starred Jackass star Bam Margera and other Jackass stars, and made a brief appearance in 'Jackass Number Two', and most recently Valo recorded a song with german actress Natalia Avelon for the movie '8 Miles High'.

Mikko Viljami Lindström was one of the founding members of HIM, and he also had his own album, entitled 'Daniel Lioneye The King Of Rock and Roll', which also featured members of HIM, and one of the tracks, 'The King Of Rock and Roll' was used for the opening of Viva La Bam.
